Arnold
B. Bakker is
professor of Work & Organizational Psychology at Erasmus University
Rotterdam, The Netherlands. He is the chair of the Center of Excellence for
Positive Organizational Psychology and holds visiting professorships in Slovenia
(University of Ljubljana), Finland, and South Africa. Bakker is fellow of the
Association for Psychological Science, the European Academy of Occupational
Health Psychology, the International Association of Applied Psychology, and
Lingnan University (Hong Kong). He is an expert regarding organizational
behavior, and his research interests include JD-R theory, job crafting, playful
work design, the work-family interface, burnout, and work engagement. Bakker is
one of the most-cited scientists in the world. Since 2014, he has continuously
been included in Thomson Reuters’ list of “The World’s Most Influential
Scientific Minds.”
Arnold B. Bakker je profesor psihologije dela in organizacij na Univerzi
Erasmus v Rotterdamu na Nizozemskem. Je predsednik Centra odličnosti za
pozitivno organizacijsko psihologijo in gostujoči profesor v Sloveniji
(Univerza v Ljubljani), na Finskem in v Južni Afriki. Bakker je častni član
združenj Association for Psychological Science, European Academy of
Occupational Health Psychology, International Association of Applied Psychology
in Lingnan University (Hong Kong). Je strokovnjak na področju vedenja v
organizacijah, njegovi raziskovalni interesi pa vključujejo teorijo zahtev in
virov pri delu, oblikovanje dela, igrivo oblikovanje dela, razmerje med delom
in družino, izgorelost ter zavzetost pri delu. Bakker sodi med najbolj citirane
znanstvenike na svetu. Od leta 2014 je neprekinjeno uvrščen na Thomson
Reutersov seznam »Najvplivnejših znanstvenih umov na svetu«.
